Trend: Johnson County has had steady growth in taxable retail sales. Iowa City and Coralville have also experienced steady growth in taxable retail sales. Coralville did experience a small decline in taxable retail sales in 1996.

Trend: The taxable retail sales for Johnson County since 1992 have increased in all categories with the exception of the Miscellaneous category.
